I was pretty excited for the story update since I know God Eater goes to Mission 14 and GE2 goes to Mission 15 difficulty, but after the story update it's still on difficulty 7. I really love the updates on God Eater 3, but if this is all we're getting I feel like the game has half the content of the other two games. I spent 80+ hours on God Eater 2 and still have content to go through and on this I've done 40 and I've pretty much played all the missions.

Is this game going to have a "Resurrection" or "Rage Burst" update or is this pretty much the extent of the game's content?

Yeah, Im dissapointed too. I mean, I'm grateful that they are updating the game for free, but I honestly think it would be better if they made a paid expansion dlc, like the ones you said, ''Resurrection'' or ''Rage Burst''

there should be one more update down the line cause the latest version is 1.40 but here in the states or other places we haven't gotten that one yet.

I wouldn't expect much from the game industry these day...they are so lazy when it comes to making games compare to what they used to make back in the day. We all pretty much pay more for the same amount of content. When its good content that is, because sometimes you pay up and the content is ♥♥♥♥♥♥. And when we dont have to pay and we get free update, we get tiny updates with a base game thats either half-done or really poor in content, just like this one and so many others

Blame the greedy publisher to not have raised the industry standard in that regard. They lowered it over time by making ♥♥♥♥♥♥ games for years now. Stuff we used to get for free we now pay up. And now, most player expectation have dropped, which make the games even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Its an infinite loop that will only be broken if dev found a way to bypass the use of publisher or if we as consummer stand our ground. Sadly no one does anything about it.

Yeah, it just feels like a shame that as far as gameplay goes, this one definitely feels like the best to me. I just wish that it had the same amount of content that GE and GE2 had. I feel like this game has 1/3 of the aragami, but at the very least the aragami in this game are more interesting.

Aside from ashborn aragami there is maybe 1 or 2 aragami they added. To me 90% same aragami & 10% news one is still not intesresting. If we had 10 new aragami and the same amount of ashborn the you could make of those 10+ to maybe be interesting, but yeah, its more of the same than it is new to me.

games like these yea lol, but mostly their are good ones out their (RE 2, smash ultimate, spider man, legend of zelda BoTW etc...)

To be honest i can count the amount of those game per year on my finger. And each years i count a lil bit less further than than the previous one. With some year being an exception by 1 or 2 more game.

GE1 and GE2 also had full expansions to their games. each game at launch has always gone up to difficulty 7 or 8 and no more. it wasn't until Rage burst and Ressurection that GE2 and GE1 got those high difficulty ranks.

What the hell were you expecting, even MHW didn't add as much as a normal GE expension with its free update. The biggest lack of contents in GE is with the outfits otherwise it's still fairly equivalent to the other.

This my point though, we're so used to get next to nothing at launch it lower ou expectations. To the point where people will settle for less and still pay up. If god eater 3 was made back when we had bigger expectation this game wouldved tanked, and so would have any other game that does the same thing.

So i ask you, why would you settle for less and stil pay the same price ? Answer : because you've been brainwashed to expect less when in fact you shouldnt. In fact you should expect More, than the industry does right now. Expecting less is only making us regress.and its gonna get worse and worse. Where are the fully released game at launch ? Back then everything we have in the game right now wouldve been included in the base game and we wouldve had patches and dlcs which wouldve been 2 time or 3x bigger in term of content. Hate to burst bubble but gaming is going to ♥♥♥♥, and publisher are big part of it. Who do you think finance games and make the financials budget of every game you own. Its the publisher. And by making us pay more for less, they make more money. So yes, until devs in the industry find a way to finance their game without having a publisher involved, gaming will become ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. And people expect less shouldn't expect less. They should expect more from industry,, yet no one does

But afair all ge games started with d7 and additionaly content added later on. I got exactly what I expected nothing more, just a little less costumes.
For all those that expected more, you are brainwashed to think that because previous GE games for PC was a game with all dlc made available. You didn't buy a game, you bought a complete edition in previous games.

rank 8 can't be just those normal missions, rank 8 must have at least two ash aragami the same time same location with punch of useless aragami all around.
yeah, sure not all those rank 7 mission on same difficulty tbh, but if the game just go to next rank without adding real challenge it will be bad, more rank missions? weapons goes to the next rank while u don't need that? let me tall u, in GER and GE2RB once u reach difficulty 9 all missions from 1-7 is useless and u don't need even to play them, and that half of the game to the trash!

.. they didn't came all the same time, it's been years for it to get that difficulty 15 and the +99 challenges, it wasn't from the beginning.
one more thing, GE3 isn't only for old players like us, it's also focus more on the new players. and if we just stop comparing to the previous games in terms of the content it will be just too good
I don't say stop asking for more content, but u need to enjoy the game.
this game also is still not completed, not in a way of a first game and it may get re release as GER & GE2RB, but if u only takes the first release of the two games, and compare it to this game, actually this game has way too more content, and u also pay less for more( if u played the origin on psp then pay for the expansion then later finally pay for the finished product that wouldn't be 60$ ), and the production now cost even more, and u can see the quality of this game is out of comparing with the other two
again, don't stop asking for more! just don't treat GE3 as a crap and ♥♥♥♥

oh, new Aragami, ok look, if this game only have new aragami then no way I will continue playing it xD
sure, getting new Aragami is a must, and if we just continue fighting the same monsters again and again then will be no need for the new game, but again, just forgetting about those old aragami wouldn't be nice.
let's talk about this from the game story view, the Aragami porn from no where, no matter how u killed them they will come again. the oracle cells always evolving and that gives a birth to a new spice, those who have the power will keep living and the weak will banish, but again the ogre tails and cocun maiden still there xD maybe because they are kinda just primitive so doesn't require that much evolving so they just keep coming.
oh, yeah, so the technology people developing get more power, but also the Aragami does the same.

so the last thing happening in GE3 right now keith and soma trying to make new armor so they can travel farther, and they will go to the far east as soma kinda say that
so, if that happen, the way there gonna be long, so expect more content, new aragami and more content

so again, if we get there we are expecting some really good stuff.
of course, if that didn't happen I will be yelling with u

the first update was after a month, the second takes two month after the first, the third may take longer, if there will be even more to that it may takes forever, especially it requires writing a story, making new maps, new aragami, and more.

Please do not forget that they explicitly said that there won't be multiple editions like GE:R or GE2:RB.

And concerning content updates, this is (1.30) what we can expect. I bet this was developed right from the start and cut out afterwards so that they can sell it as an update.
