Controller Problems

Uhm, for some reason the square button on my DS4 does not work in thia game, well technically the game sets it as an xbox controller(dont know why though) so its the X button. The rest of the buttons seems to work though, Ive also tried enabling and unenabling the controller support configurations on steam, yet still no luck.

I hear you can run GE without DS4 windows at all perfectly fine. I got the controller to work but I didn't test it since I play this one of KB/M. Maybe you should try it after disabling D-Input?

Oh by DS4 I mean a literall Dualshock 4 controller, not the DS4 windows. Im experiencing this problem without using DS4windows so meh...

I see. Maybe you should check your controller settings in Devices and Printer>Controller settings>Properties? Try switching it to Prioritize Wireless controller instead of xbox360.

I´ve played the complete Game with a PS4 (DS4) Controller and it works fine by me. Did you configure your controller in Steam? Steam needs your Inputs

I have already, also I tried using a third party controller, it works perfectly, but I'd still want to try and solve the problem on my DS4 so that I wont have to bring like two controllers because my third party controller is rather weary now. Though I'll try to re-configure the inputs again and try to see if something changes.

I have the Playstation Configuration Wizard and the Gamepad Configuration Wizard in the controler settings.
And I pluged the Recharge cable in my Pc [From Controller to PC]
Did you try Big Picture Mode?

a cheeky way to get around this is to map the square button to the KB/M configuration in the steam controller input setup.

The game is able to switch back and forth from KB/M and controller inputs without a problem(including the on-screen command prompts); so this should work if you can figure out all the commands the square button should be mapped to.

Update: I've managed to make it work now, when I went to configure it it didn't save my configuration
