Normally I hate kid characters in media since children, nine times out of ten, are horribly annoying (made even worse when they're an integral part of the story), but I really like Phym. She's a cinnamon roll too precious for this world.

I also love how the mc act as a parent figure, how she wants to be hugged, and how she calls him/her daddy. I never thought a game (and this genre to boot) would put me in these shoes. It's probably the best thing for me about this game.

Yup! Definitely pleased about the outcome.

I'll be honest: I was scared the moment she popped up, due to how things turned out on GEB/GER. :(

We know the Japanese, content creators and general public alike, are still crazy about lolis. So story makers will keep looking for ways to insert lolis into their stories..... Or just insert them for no reason at all other than power of cute. At least this one is useful despite the cringey story that's been repeated in so many stories so many times. The regen thing is nice.

For me, it ain't about the loli factor, but I do see what you're saying. With Phym, however, I like that she's still learning about the people around her and learning from the people around her, while being useful in her own right. She's cute as a button, but also an indispensable part of the group.
