Yup, useless. Showing big number is useless, try the trial guns,
I have custom for GE3 that does 5 digits and cross 6 digits(requires my tier 7 gun for such large number) in total on use of all custom bullets(1000 OP) but it's useless in the field as compared to GE/GE2RB.

I tried tinkering with it a bit and I got a radial bullet with point blank range that do even more damage. You could change the first module to short too, but it'll make you carry 1 shot less.

It's best to use this bullet with Assault Gun, since it have really low down time between bullet and doesn't ♥♥♥♥ you up with recoil like Sniper or Raygun. Just break Aragami's weakpoint bound with chain blast, downed it and spam this bullet at its weakponit and you'll do a lot of damage in short span of time. Well, not as much as those broken bullet in GER/GE2RB though.
If anyone want to make a gunner build then try stacking O>>OP snatcher trigger, Pioneer's Hyper Activation, Oracle Pulse engange, Steal/Rob/Pillage weapon, Oracle Catridge. This will give you a lot of OP regeneration.
No, you can still do it... there are power over time, power over distance, and power over vertical orbs. They made it so you shoot your one meteor at the start for free dmg and then play normal.
Right now free shot at start and it over. 1 hour to make crazy bullet but 2 shot per mission. no one want to make bullet anymore.
We have bullet treads of past game but no bullet tread for GE 3 it's kind of sad.
They have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ modules even when compared to all the limited modules of original God Eater Burst. I could do more interesting bullets on the PSP.
In 2 and R I could shoot a single bomb bullet that would also remove ailments, or a normal heal bullet that would give buffs for atk and def. With trigger happy I could keep people alive through a whole sequence of Blitz Hanibbal attacks. I can barelly heal an area in this game.
Edit: this is kinda the point I am making though, you dont build around a custom bullet, they are just free damage for no effort.
Also, I do my own recipies, so yeah I miss out on some damage from the hyper optimized stuff but I find the process of making them enjoyable.
I didn't bother using power over time though, since by the time it'll shoot the Aragami is probably already dead or run away by then. Unless it's open map with almost no obstruction like in Odin's mission. Even if I can pull it off it'll just hit armored part most of the time and will do almost no damage.
