Material database?

is there any kind of material database be it inside or outside the game?

specifically i'm trying to find "fake leather" to find an outfit but i have no idea where to get it from, i always progress with a friend and they already got it when i still have 0 of it

You can check out the mission rewards and sort of derive it that way. It's not really that efficient, but there isn't a DB as far as I know.


And I think fake leather is an area drop, and a fairly low one. It's probably in rank 3 maps if I had to guess, since I recall seeing it when doing my solo runs.
*it might be simpler just to exchange it through the craft item menu, where you can trade minerals for it

ah i didn't check you can craft it, thanks! i tried to check out all the mission rewards and it didn't say i can get it anywhere, i do think it's an area drop but sadly you can't check area drop in the mission menu, or can you?

You can, had to check it myself though. It's an additional button press after mission rewards.

The colour of the material can help you find where the material drops from.
Green R2
Purple R3
Blue R4
Rose R5
Orange R6
Gold R7

As for the materials themselves, the same "group" always drops from the same map, so for example, the "Thread" group, (Thread, Cotton, Raw Silk Thread, etc) always drops on Lower Reaches. Leathers are always on Abandoned Mines - Until those maps are replaced by other maps in the rank rotation.

As others have stated, you can tap ALT twice(or controller equivalent) on the mission screen to double check.
