The game changes my Dualshock 4 light to white for some reason...

I know it sounds like a silly problem but it's kind of annoying because i play with dim lights and white is much brighter than my configured color, it's the first time i encountered a problem like this, I tried running both in full screen and borderless mode and it does it in both modes. Anyone else experiencing this? any solution? It's a pity... I really want to play this but the bright white light is very annoying.

I used DS4W and dont recall I ever had issue with this, might depend whether youre using usb or bluetooth since I always kept it wired, but not sure about this one tho. Also turning off/on PS4 support might be worth a try, if not then honestly I have no clue.

I'll try that, btw i just found in the forums that somebody said it's a playstation legacy thing, apparently some playtstation 4 games choose their own light bar color or something, and it's supposed to be red during gameplay, i was going crazy over the white light but that seems to be only in the main menu. I'm still going to try to make it use my custom color though. I guess DS4W will always be there to save the day is everything else fails. And thank you for replying.

Some games force the light color if you dont use any 3rd party program, same as you would play on regular PS. Also steam support changes ingame button layout, for GE iirc you need to turn it off and use usb to have PS instead xbox.

I didn't know that, I haven't owned a console since playstation 2 era haha. I don't mind the xbox prompts though. The white color was mostly because it was burning my eyes a little... hahaha! But red is a lot more tolerable.
