New Upgrade For Ammit Melee Weapons?
I just got to rank 7, and one thing I noticed was that there's now a new upgrade option for the starter melee weapons between the Ammit 0 and Resheph 0 upgrades. This was probably added in the update, I'm guessing. Does anyone know where to get the blueprints for them? I feel like holding off on upgrading my scythe until I know what the new upgrade is.

I mentioned in another post that I believe you obtain the blueprints once you defeat Amen Ra on either standard cert 20 or cert 30 mission, either way even if I'm wrong you unlock them anyway through standard certificate missions. The weapons are O Divine with some unique burst abilities, honestly not too great but alright.

Thanks for the heads up.

The mid (between Ammit and Resepth) Buster Blade have the coolest weapon special skill in the game :coolthulhu::shotgunDA:

I don't have +1's to waste for testing it outside the training room thou.. as it's so odd! and probably would kill the user in 1 slow LVL 3 fully charged CC-Overkill.. (maybe even before you get the hit as it's so slow)

Thank you, i was wondering about that as well.

It's from Amen Ra and is also one piece of gear you can make directly without upgrading your weapon. So you can upgrade your existing weapons to the next step of their evolution without fear, as you will be able to get Amen Ra's weapon directly from the materials.

Of course, the problem is grinding Amen Ra, which is absolutely horrible. The fight itself is extremely punishing and the time limit to get a triple SSS is pretty tight as it has way more HP than it should. Hope you brought your boosters.

You are aware you get the same mats from the cert 20 version which is quite easy, lower rates compared to cert 30 but more easy to obtain. If he manages to get the clone up just focus it. I've cleared cert 20 a number of times within 6 minutes and I don't doubt it can be cleared faster. He's just a normal Ra that can cast a clone and a bit more rougher devour to avoid but you just use the walls to hide behind to be safe.

I think my best time against Amen Ra is 3:35, something like that. That was a fight which went extremely well, sadly it doesn't always happen. I had some lasting 7-8 minutes, and it drops your ranking like a rock. Thanks to using a biting edge, I had situations where I could hit BOTH the clone and the original with a petal chaser air combo, but I can't exactly count on that happening all the time obviously.

That thing seems to try to devour too often(we are talking old pre-patch AI tendency), and has too much HP making the fight drag on more than it should.

Grinding is bad enough, but when a fight is a bit irregular about if it will go well or not, it makes things unecessarly tedious.

Hmm I haven't had issues so I guess I'm lucky in that regard. I use the VS so Dystopia gives me all the DPS I need to drop the clone quickly and break bonds, the devouring doesn't happen all that often either although Dromi, Anubis and Nuada still go ape with devours at times... >.> However with the map layout it's personally easy to avoid the devour moves by using the stair walls at the church, I just get behind a wall and camp it until it's done then go after him again.

I do see a big difference in the BE and VS DPS as I've been using BE a lot due to being fun and notice that missions take me a few extra minutes compared to when I use VS. My setup for BE requires me to wait for the aragami to be held or downed to get DPS rolling since for me it comes from Glaive form where the VS I just get burst and use Dystopia constantly making sure to target the weak points.

That's my experience anyway, quite curious to see how fast I can take Amen Ra down properly but that's if I could be bothered doing so but his HP honestly doesn't seem that big.
