Far East Branch in Europe? (Story)
I really like how much details this game has. (even Soma has not a Burst Art, its called Blood Art in only his description) But why is the damaged Fenrir Far East Branch in North-Europe. I mean are all Branches looking this way or... Also, when you take Soma to a Mission he will say: "You are a shadow of your former self." when you play in the last map.

There is also an other thing that is very seldom in my opinion - why can this leader of Baran can survive so long in the forbidden ash-zone as a human? Has Baran developed something that makes this possible or is it a mistake, because when you find Lulu, Hilda has limited time when she left the ash-crawler.

I am a big fan, I hope someone can explain that to me :D

OP means that next to Fenrir HQ, there's a building that looks exactly like the far east branch. My only assumption would be that this building is the Europe branch, and the building is the same as Far East to keep a sense of uniformity between those, while HQ gets the white angelic-like building.

As for what happened to the actual Far East branch, this game does not go into that. (yet) And since Fenrir's communications were pretty much broken by the ash blight, only by having characters come from there, or having the player moving to that branch, will we know what happened there.

As for the Baran captain, I also have that question. Hilda couldn't stand 10 minutes in a relatively low ash place, but this guy is casually waiting around in a place close to where the heaviest ash was. Baran being Baran, they may have made such tech to keep him alive possible. But the game does not say anything about anything, so for now I'll call it a plot hole.

In GE(1) Johannes Schicksal traveled to the Europe Branch as well and the HQ is there since GE2 I think... so it would make sence that the HQ superseded the old Branch, maby the oldest because the Fenrir Organisation, and please correct me if I am wrong, was a European corporation specializing in biotechnology before 2050. That would also explain why Johannes is from Germany and the Buildings that you can see in his flashback (anime) are looking classicist.

Anyway, thank you all for discussing. One of GEs major strengths is its story and it would be really sad if there is something controversial. (and sorry for the bad english :D)

It's sad indeed that interesting stories like these are riddled with inconsistencies and plot holes, I suppose because of corporate needs to rush everything to cash on it as soon as possible, leaving writers and designers with little time to study what they have done and fix where necessary.
