In unlit areas my character looks like a gyaru too. Skin color in character creation is pretty misleading.

I read somewhere they were going to update game so you can change skin color hopefully.

character creation is so poor. i guess there will be dlc with haircuts and etc.

I hated it so much that the ingame skin color looked nothing like it did in the character creator, that I restarted 2 hours in just for this reason. I'm still not entirely happy with it, but at least I like it a lot better now.
