The base game has about 70 missions, with 110+ missions coming between yesterday´s patch and the one in spring, apparently.

By the time the patch hits it will be as long as the other GE´s i guess, plus more content planned for the future.

But if you are a rusher who just cruises thru the story in an evening or two it will feel shorter simply because this is the vanilla game and not the BBQ FTW BURST RAGE ROFLMAO V.3 MK5 version like we usually get in the west.

I'm in Rank 4 with 11 hours played, done all optional missions as well. And there's still plenty to do.

Oh my, so they're actually going to update it for free? That's very nice.

Are those missions that they will add be more like skirmishes? Just gameplay?

And yeah, I usually rush but I play and replay the games that I love, so I am probably going to do all the side missions if I end up liking the story. For example, I played Nioh and did literally every side mission there is, so might be something similar with God Eater 3.

70 missions. Okay, I am currently at 16th mission, so I take it, I am going pretty quickly through it. Do you think I need to do side missions in order to level up and not have any troubles later on in the game? I am pretty bad with games, haha.

I assume, based on my experience in the previous games, that the higher you go the more "grindy" it will become and more necessary will it be to diversify and craft different sets for different bossses etc.

I assume all the 110 missions will be endgame content, since the previous games had many more difficulty levels past the end of the story, and i guess many more assaults and party content as well since its one of the selling points of the game.

If RNGjesus hates you, prepare yourself.

Sadly, the game does not allow me to play multiplayer unless I change my Internet's connection type. It's ridicilous because I play fighting games where precision is important without any issues, and that is with players from all around the globe - no issues to speak of. But this game? They don''t allow me to play co-op even if the person who was to join me has the same NAT type.

So, I am locked out of multiplayer. : ( It's not a big deal, though, since the game is fun anyways. I'm just worried about the later half of the game... I am pretty bad with difficult games. I had quite a few moments in Nioh and Dark Souls when I just couldn't proceed no matter how much I tried, but those games have online and it worked perfectly, but God Eater 3 - no online to help me. :c

If by the online not working you mean that you cannot find players to play with, that probably has to do with your download region, which can be changed in the steam options.

Many players who live in less populared regions find no players until they change to central EU or US as their download region, as the game uses that to determine who to play with.

If you mean you get an error, maybe we can try to solve it.
game is 6 hours long but you can multiplay stil when its complete

I spent over 100 hours in each of the previous games. But that was the Steam editions with all the DLC included. I did some side quests/grinding for materials & god arcs, but wasn't going for 100% completions, etc. I'm hoping this one isn't -quite- that long.

Sounds like either the guy is using a Trainer or he thinks he is evaluating the value of the game by speed running it or pathetically trolling because he doesn't have a Mouse icon next to his name unless he plays on Console but still rather pathetically lies for troll reason.

Actually he is a Troll because he even made a Thread for a game that isn't even released yet

His post history is full of Troll Facts and Information

Yeah, my Steam stats say 29 hours so far and I've just got to the first rank 5 mission and have yet to fail a mission (although I came close once). Have done a few repeat missions for materials - I daresay I could've got to this point faster if I hadn't, but I like to make sure any equipment that it's possible to upgrade, has been upgraded.

So I've got no complaints about the game length.

Well I just completed the game at 33 hours in Steam, I had the game open for several hours doing other stuff though as well as restart in rank 2 missions because screw having a capital letter in my name when no NPCs have it =P

I've got 2 achieves left and that's "All achievements" one and one where you need to craft one of each weapon, shield and gun at max rank.

I suspect it's possible to do every mission in under 20 hours because I really took my time, doing only the story missions would reduce this by a lot since the last missions took me like 4-5h or something after the story ended.

Wait, what? You "really took your time" yet completed the game in just 4 hours longer than it took me to get to the rank 5 missions? Er...

/slides away in shame

X_X Sorry

I'm rather used to games of this type so I just figured out a good weapon and damage combo with it and literally spammed my way through the game with it.

Only missions I redid was when it changed rank so I could the starter weapon upgraded one more tier.
Icevail Feb 10, 2019 @ 7:38am
Rank 6 is last story mode, rank 7 is just post game farming with increased difficulty the more you unlock missions to it.
Nikke Feb 10, 2019 @ 10:54am
I finished the story at 30 hours and there's not much after it except grind.
