How's KB & Mouse Controls?

I accidentally purchased the game without looking into it. Is it good as the other ones or even better?. Even though I have a xbox controller, I tend to play with KB and Mouse usually.

There are many reasons one of them is due my low internet connection. The other one is because I'm not home.

I'd appreciate It if someone can just answer my question instead of arguing with me.

Seems to have mouse acceleration and/or smoothing of some sort and I can't see a setting to turn it off. Haven't yet found a config file to tweak either.

Just to clarify it might actually be a camera rotation top speed cap. For small movements the mouse controls are not bad but when you try to turn quickly it seems to hit a cap that makes the movement feel very awkward. The camera rotation speed settings just make it more sensitive without seemingly changing the rotation speed cap. For some reason console centric devs seems to do this all the time without realizing how annoying it is for mouse users.

I looked in all the usual places and can't find any sort of config file whatsoever.

tbh when it comes to movement it feels like it doing a poor job trying to emulate a controller. so maybe it something like mouse acceleration or something but i dont like it so far.

It's totally crap to be honest. They did a horrible Port with this game unlike the other ones in the series. It's a complete trash for KB and Mouse users.

Ok so a couple settings helped me alot under basic controls set your camera distance to far and rotation to slow. it helped me alot. Even just moving the cam to far helped alot.

Just dont like having to keyboard nav menus cause thats bs.

Yeah, the KB+M controls are very unpolished. No proper sensitivity control, DPI on your mouse doesn't effect it... Controller feels perfectly fine though. Despite having a keyboard, they stacked multiple things on single keys, which is kind of irksome. Truthfully, if you have it, i'd just use controller until other people find fixes, because i doubt it's going to get patched.

what bugs me is this launched for ps4 yet only has xbox controller option for prompts on pc

Thats not surprising, the devs have to specifically add that in for a windows release, that just gets baked in for a console version, there are a lot of games that just use the default xbox icons, hell i have them myself and i'm using a switch controller :P
