Are they going to allow Trainer/Mods here in God eater 3?
Hi, Just want to know if this game will allow Trainer/Mods like with other games(Resident Evil 2 Remake)? Thanks

Oh and devs are mainly against any modifications, so beware.

The reason i'm asking is because i don't support mods. I don't want to buy a game with people cheating online and you working hard for the items. I lost my appetite with RE2 after knowing the trainer. NOt only that in the forums people are encouraging others to use it because its legal for RE2. >_<

So when you say devs are mainly against any modifications for this game, does that mean they can detect any mods and ban them? Is it guaranteed they can ban the player right away? Were they able to ban people in GE2 for cheating?
-I suggest you join God Eater International Discord. [ https://steamcommunity.com/app/899440/discussions/0/1742231705660682799/ ] We always organize groups and play together. it's a great place to find 3 other frends to play with on the daily.

-Cheaters weren't rampant in GER/RB2 because there was a stupid region lock which prevented anyone who wasn't in your state/city(download area on steam) from playing God Eater with you. Also the game crashed with 4 players and if you used lv3 support cards. Basically they ruined multiplayer completely.

-Don't worry about cheeaters in co-op games like this. They rarely go online because they are too busy killing their own fun offline.

-I honestly don't mean to be rude but you shouldn't be discouraged by people cheating in games that don't impact you. Play the game to have fun and don't care about other people or most games will be ruined for you. People make trainers for every game because they are very easy to sell. There will always be cheaters on PC and on console.

Honestly you'd have better luck just playing with friends or organizing groups if you are that worried about cheats.

I wouldn't know if it is. I haven't really played the game with random people.

Just about every game out there that isn't online-only will have trainers and cheats. Thankfully, most people are not using them. But I don't think you'll have to worry too much with this game. The series is pretty niche so I doubt anybody is going to be cheating online.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully they have a system to detect it or they will not accept cheaters. Otherwise it is useless to spend hours playing farming looking for the items.

Nobody is making you cheat or use a mod. Just don't play with randoms and you will be fine.

What do you mean don't play with randoms?

I mean don't play with random people in the game. Play with friends or get a group of legit players from discord or something.

Big incentive for people to cheat is when there's an element of PvP. Seeing as this is PvE only I cannot imagine it being fun for very long to simply go in and instantly kill everything or giving yourself all materials. We will have to wait and see. =)

There are people that would like to ruin it for others, in MHW some people already seeing guys one shot monsters

in general, in PvE games they don't really matter much. You can always just leave immediately or after the mission/hunt is over. Had something similar in MHW where a friend of mine suddenly could do IMMENSE dmg, but we just left afterwards. It's just one mission afterall

If I catch you in a game with me and I notice your cheating you better damn well believe I will report you, wanna mod your single player experience fine, but take that crap online your liable to get banned or they will treat it like DS3 and put you in a cheaters server where you can only game with other cheaters, BANDAI NAMCO do care about cheating online to some degree, espeically lately.

oh okay thanks. Were you able to play GE2? Is the cheating there rampant?
i didn't see any cheater in GE2
even if you cheat on money you won't progress much money doesn't have that important role here
so infinite health and one hit kill are the only options
and this game is PVE so their infinite health shouldn't bother you
and for one hit kill
if they used OHK then the match ends in 30s or less
exit their group and join another one
you will find a lot of friends on GE3
