There is currently no crossplay with switch or ps4 (though a feature like this should have been universal a long time ago).

It would help the player count for just about any multiplayer game. PS4 has been on top for a while and when you have the lions share of the playerbase, what reason do you have to share with other platforms? Although I dont think they can keep that up for long. Even developers are starting to get irritated by not being able to implement it (they say its something quite easy for them to do too).

Considering they can't even figure out global MP on steam to steam (is tied to your steam download region....) I highly doubt we ever get cross platform

I always thought that but idk anymore. I live in canada and ive played with ppl from the us that arent on my download region

well I think it does allow for like nearby dl regions, but doubt you would be able to paly with someone from a european dl region for instance
