Soma does look identical but older compared to Ein

There is one scene in GE3 where soldiers speak how Eins traverse the ashes like nothing, despite being a Gen1 God Eater. The explanation being Soma was also a Gen 1 but is half aragami. That ALONE pretty muchs givesaway its Soma

I want to see the older characters, I like GE2 to know a bit more of the older characters adn get to know the new ones..but always makes me wonder...canonically WHERE are the protagonists from past GE?. I can understand they dont appear but I WANT at least menttions beyond 1 line TOPS.

If i remember correctly the Protagonist of GEB became the head of the Cradle and he is sitting behind the desc. Molt likely so we dont see him when the battle group Cradle comes to visit you. But we only know that because it was said in GE2:RB. We dont know what happened to the second Protagonist because its not mentioned in GE3. But the devs are constantly adding something so maybe its yet to come
