Make his devour attack into more unique. Just like Amen-Ra and his second dash after throwing the ball.
Heck I hate Ameno Havakiri more than this Anubis. That's why I always go for solo hunt to make it more challenging.
sometimes rising your hope, or just hyping or living in fear make u disappoint after u found the truth.
for me I was really happy with the fight (first real fight not the first encounter)
thing is, the first encounter is most for the story and showing u what can this monster do, and it doesn't affect u actually, all it does was affecting Hugo not u or phym, just Hugo
at first I thought this was like kyoubi from GE2RB, that move he use to affect everyone in the area and drain their life. well, it actually the same but they remove it from kyoubi and give it to the ash Anubis, but gives u an item that u need to use if u want to make a perfect run( and again how it's possible perfect and u actually using an item but they count it as not an item? that the only annoying thing)
about the fire, well, u just get hyped, fooled and maybe a little scared by the first encounter ( sorry if this sound like insulting u or something, I don't mean it that way )
anti fire set? sure, this will work on any Aragami weak for fire, but does u even need it in first place? no, u don't even need that, it just will help u to finish the fight faster, and tbh, most elementary weapons are weak. it's better to get stronger weapon with a high rank that has four slot to install skills on it
I know GE3 seems easy, for the previous games especially the first, 45 minutes sometimes isn't even enough, but here is the thing, technology evolving ( yeah even if it's a game, there most be a logic, and it's there ) so we have better god arc that can use new type of power wasn't there in first god eater( talking about burst art ), I mean u can try to fight without it, it will be fun, it will just take a lot of time, do it without even trying to devour that thing, u will enjoy it.
about the behavior, Ash Anubis is fine for me, yeah that flying attack looks weak? basically it choose one target an it will shot on it, but it will be always on one direction, cus Anubis can jump into air but how the hell u want it to move while flying? he just can't do that
the only annoying attack Anubis has is that one he shot fire into that air and then it rain down on u on a big range, I found that stupid, he shot it in the air but it follow your step like how?
my point is, that attack ash anubis do while flying isn't weak at all, just face it and guard it if u want, i'm happy with a good attack that isn't stupid af that follow no logic.
sure this is just my opinion and I respect yours, it just that I prefer ash Anubis the way he is
.
It's just, for me it could have been an awesome distinct game mechanic.
We got:
> Regular aragami's whom we fight head on
> Psion (GE2 has a couple, GE3 only has Marduk) whom we should take in account summoned aragami's unless you want to be juggled to death
> Ashborn's which are totally awesome, a whole new devour and burst mechanic that works
.
and then the "Ash Storm"... that really does nothing after being bombed... He's just like any regular Ashborn Anubis after that.... It's something that can GREATLY be improved with a few tweaks.
