How many characters max?

I am really intrigued by the time mechanic but I think it could get messy with more than 2 characters to play. Can you play more than 2 during the game?

Maximum of 2 characters are controlled at each time. In totality there are 4 playable characters and one sort of a "vehicle". So I'd say 4.5 characters. But yes, we were prototyping with a team of 4 at one point and then went to 3 and only at 2 the game mechanics started to make sense.

After you had built a perfect sequence for 2 characters, the 3rd one usually onlu effed thing up :D So it was best to stick at 2. And it is plenty! There are a lot of things you get done with 2 characters.
