RNG= Ranged Combat
SLK= Increases Crit chance and needed for some skills to trigger like "Second Attack"
EVD= Evasion
DEF= Defense
ACC= Hit Chance
So for example raising the CBQ attribute of a pilot will make him more powerful when using attacks with melee weapons like swords or similar.
Each attack a mecha has has a symbol next to its name, either a fist or a gun.
CQB or RNG.
Not sure what SLK might be, but SKL is abbreviation for Skill (Critical chance rate in most SRW games) and since I can do some search on the internet myself, CQB is for Close Quarter Battle as opposed to Ranged RNG.
Edit: Seems like someone was faster and posted the answer while I was still typing my response.
BTW shouldn't SRW games have it's own glossary when you press "select" button?
Although things are not that simple anymore, since DualShock 4/DualSense replaced SELECT with SHARE button and I have no idea if it open on pressing OPTIONS for SONY controller "View" button for XBOX controller, being bound to completely different button regardless of the manufacturer, whatever key bind on the keyboard, or the glossary function was completely removed from later SRW games.
Also I can't even imagine how the SRW 30 UI must look like if they are using abbreviations instead of full phrases in game where native resolution is like 1080p.

this was the web guide i used for last 15 years.
What I've found on the internet is only the basic Operation Guide which show function of each controller button on currently present screen, but no glossary.
I'm certain that OGs and OGG have the function to bring up the blue cursor to select element of UI and then display description of that selected segment of UI.
Were those the only SRW games having that function?
Also, CQB/RNG is not super clear-cut; they don't affect accuracy (only damage dealt), and exactly what is a CQB or RNG weapon is often misleading. In general, the only actual determinator as to whether an attack is melee or ranged is the icon next to the weapon's name. Don't assume that just because the attack has a range of 5 or 6 and has nothing to do with melee weapons or hitting things that it is ranged. Water Dragon is melee. Javelin is ranged. Getter Beam is melee. Grid Beam is ranged.
Well said.
