catch-a-ride bugged?

Can't complete the quest 'catch-a-ride'(near the start). It's meant to complete auto when you run into the area I believe. Anyone else have this problem? and will it effect my gameplay further on in the game if i skip it?

Well, you can't skip it. Not sure whether it auto-completes, or whether you have to "use" the station.

If you are not afraid to go online, you can do this quest in someone's hosted game.

This just happened to me too. You just have to leave the Arid Badlands and come back. Just go into the Skag Gully and do the quests there first for TK.

You walk up to the Catch-A-Ride and attempt to activate it, then Scooter instructs you to kill Bonehead (nearby) in order to retrieve the part you need to fix the Catch-A-Ride.

had this problem not to long ago but what i did was run back into fyrestone and back out and it worked. havent gotten much further from that since i play BL2 more.

i just encountered this bug few nights ago; its very strange. intended on doing tk's missions first- good to know that will fix it. thanks folks.

I just run into that problem. The way it fixed for me was to do that quest last. I went on to do TK's quests first and after completing them and approaching the Catch-a-Ride, the quest activated and prompted me to kill Bonehead. I think it was designed like that because when you first get the quest you're level 7 and such, and Bonehead was level 11 in my game.
