I am running XP SP3 and my computer easily matches up to specifications but it still does not work. I am sorry i cant help you either :(
Am rather pissed off, i purchased this game with the intention of using my controller and it doesn't even notice it...
Sucks hardcore
This is a thread on the borderlands 1 GOTY edition ;)
I did find a solution for myself, it seems to only detect my gamepad if I power on the controller AFTER the game has been loaded. Its worth mentioning, I think, that my reciever for my controller is a cheaper knock off, not Microsoft brand...
Could be the whole issue ;)
Hope it works for you, BL1 is still awesome enough to play while owning BL2 ;)
Maybe see you in game :)
