Just finished the game: Severely disappointed with "ending"
Come on.. after everything I did, a giant monster comes out, I kill it, and I don't get diddly squat for it except a bunch of money from Tannis? What was the point of me doing that? Why did the woman in my head have me do all that? Just to kill the monster or so the next time it opens the next person can get all the loot?

Underwhelmed
Disappointed
Confused

The goal is clear in the first movie, when Marcus explains is all. And why Angel made you do it... Play Borderlands 2. :borderlands2:
Play The General Knoxx DLC :D

I felt like the entire game had very little story... then at the end the other siren shows up for two minutes and dies. I didn't even remember who she was, tbh. x) They made her like some main antagonist but I didn't feel that closure that comes from beating a game.

But I guess some of the DLCs actually somewhat continue things into BL2. Haven't gone into them yet.

the ending was supposed to be ironic and funny. Here you are, playing an entire game based off of endless loot, and the big bad end boss drops nothing. There is humor there
and like the one poster above already mentioned, you could play through the General Knoxx DLC for 2 main reasons:

1) You can glitch your way through the armory floor without setting off any of the timers

2) You can also farm Crawmerax numerous times (Mordecai's Scavenger COM makes Crawmerax drop even more loot if he has it equipped)

The terrible drops from the Destroyer are a known problem/bug, but it is unlikely it will ever get fixed. And the fact that you think the woman was in your head means you most likely didn't understand the entire point of the story or many of its details.

How would you explain her talking with the heroes while they're on the bus before receiving their ECHO devices from claptrap?

Angel can talk through basic communications devices as well - she isn't limited to the Echo net; but other methods aren't as stable.

That is answered eventually in Borderlands 2. No spoilers.

No, it's not. We know how she communicates in BL2, but the bus scene at the beginning of BL1 doesn't fit that.

You're assuming the heroes have implanted communication devices in the bus scene. There's nothing which tells us this.

It seems much more likely that Gearbox either hadn't thought through how she communicated in BL1 very clearly or they changed their minds about how it was done when writing BL2.

Just play knoxx and get ur big loot and an ending :)
FreFlo [TTV] Mar 18, 2015 @ 6:41am
This is truth, the original story does not have an ending once Knoxx was added..
Play the story, then play Knoxx, Knoxx, Knoxx...There is no escape!
