Level you beat Sledge?

I'm only around level 14-17 (I think 15) and I beat the midget boss in Sledge's safehouse, I didn't die, but it wasn't easy. I only won because of a badass, super strong revolver I had. I'm a bit worried that my level is bad and I will have difficulty with Sledge himself. What level were you when you beat him?

around level 18 maybe 19. Do some of the side quests in firestone that will get you to level 18

Yeah, I still do have some but I didn't realise the Sledge mission was part of the main story. Will level up, thanks!

The headstone mine is tuff. You have many to kill before you reach sledge. When you are fighting sledge keep moving and kill the phycos first.

i beat him im level 16 i had a purple smg does 36 torgue that i bought and i also used a dahl shotgun idk the dammage i think 30 or 40x11 it took me a while, i kept training him around and shooting a mag into him around a corner and i beat him no problem

Thanks for the offer, I appreciate it a lot, but I wanna beat this game on my first playthrough solo.

use an electric weapon.

the game prompts you that sledge has a tough shield and he does. get that shield down and switch to a fire weapon or simply your best weapon, and wipe him off the map - his actual hit points are low compared to the shield strength.

he does hit quite hard, so care.

Personally I beat him at I think level 18 or 19. If you feel iffy about going for it then gring up a little, level up and try to find some better wepons in chests. He does hit pretty hard but he's pretty easy to dodge if need be.

sheild? one bloodwing and a couple shots did it for me, it wasnt THAT hard. but if you want the sledges shotgun, you better have aa good reeload speed, it has 2 shots and takes too long to reload for me.

I only have one electric weapon, which sucks. And I'm level 17 now thanks to a mission in the cave.

I think I was level 17, but I was co-op-ing with someone. So it felt easy enough.

Somewhere between 18-19 lvl, like someone already said. But it was in co-op.

Does co-op make the game harder or easier?

Co op is easier because you have a friend with you so more damage and they can heal you but the emenys are tougher so you have that to consider but then you get way better loot so it does make the game easier in the long run
