Help me understand these class mods
I have all these class mods and I have no idea what they do or which ones are the better ones. I need to get rid of them to make room in my backpack but I want to keep the best one and I don't know what "+3 Diva Skill" means.

These are all for the Siren, by the way.

This first one is called 16 Firefly Class Mod and the specs are:

24% Ignite Damage
2 Spark Skill
2 Phoenix Skill
3 Diva Skill

Second one is 350 Mercenary Class Mod

36% SMG Damage
2 Quicksilver Skill
2 High Velocity Skill
2 Girl Power Skill

Third one is 620 Mercenary Class Mod

44% SMG Damage
2 High Velocity Skill

Fourth is 15 Mercenary Class Mod

24% SMG Damage
2 Quicksilver Skill
2 High Velocity Skill
2 Girl Power Skill

The last one is Catalyst Class Mod

20% Cool Down Reduction
2 Girl Power Skill
2 Team Rare Find Items

I mean, serously, Girl Power Skill? What does that even mean?

They are all Siren class mods, if you're not playing as Lillith (Siren), just sell them. Diva is a skill on the left tree that increases your shield capacity. Unless you're playing as a Siren, just forget about them all, just sell them.

I am playing as a Siren. I need to know which one is the best one.

After you unlock your Siren skill (at level 5) you will gain a skill point each time you level up. You can use this point to enable Perks such as "Girl Power", etc - they're all explained under your profile.
These mods act as if you have more points added to a perk PROVIDED YOU HAVE AT LEAST ONE POINT ALLOCATED TO THAT PERK ALREADY. So, if you have a point allocated to "Girl Power", the mod with +2 Girl Power Skill would make your character as if you had allocated 3 points to this skill. This can even raise you above the maximum possible of 5.
Look at the explanation of each skill, decide what type of siren you want, then pick the best mod for that profile.

Thank you much, that answers everything.

Also, I'm not sure if this applies to Borderlands 1 specifically, but I think you need to have at least one skill point (or have it unlocked?) for a skill in order for the class mod to take effect in such a skill.

It's works in Borderlands 2 - 100%
But it seems not working in my Borderlands 1 GotY. When I equip class mod, which added +N skillpoints for some perk, and that perk is increased at one point, that perk is still remains one point.

It doesn't show on the skill tree, but it still works as intended.

Keep an eye out for the Defender class mod. This gives you a large shield increase. I tend to use this one most of the time.
RemoteLeg, that was a great explanation. Nice one.
