go to options, click on audio/video and then use the arrow keys to go down and change the resolution.

It's mandatory tweak for me as well. Game feel much more dynamic. Here is a link where you will find how to change it(and a few more useful things):

I suggest you to try a few different settings. For me value 90 looks good with 16:10 monitor.

However, there is one issue with it: every time you enter any car in game your FOV will reset to default value. That's why you can't set it permanently and you need to create a bind.

just bind it to the sprint key

I'm not sure, but you should be able to make it work with your controler as well.

and/or

Wireless keyboard maybe? Should be way less effort.

Just change the key to a controller input. It works just fine.

eg: Bindings=(Name="XboxTypeS_LeftTrigger",Command="FOV 85",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False)

Which config file am I putting this in? Also thanks.

Into WillowInput.cfg at the bottom of the documentjust above [IniVersion]. You can find the cfg in my documents/my games/borderlands/willowgame/config

Remember to type in the value of the fov you actually want. I personally prefer 80 to 85 from my viewing distance when using a controller.

The only down side is you need to put it on a key that you won't be able to use. If you only have a standard controller without extra buttons I would tie it to the home button, the big xbox symbol button. I will have a look a bit later and see if I can tie it to foward or similar without disabling the ability to move.

Most I've messed with UE3 is minor stuff with getting 3D to work in Mass Effect, so forgive me if I'm stupid but I don't get it :P

How far wrong?

And yeah how would I bind it to the 360 guide button? Assuming it wouldn't work on any other button.

That seems right to me. If it doesn't work close the cfg, load up the game, go to controls and rerset to default. Then add the line again. You should only have to do this once and once it is working you can simply forget about it.

If you would like I could upload my files and then you can just replace yours. It has numerous other fixes like showing the console buttons as well.

Try deleting everything between

[WillowGame.WillowPlayerInput]

[IniVersion]

load up the game, reset key bidnings, exit the game then add the line.

edit: the key bindings you have to reset are in the mouse and keyboard area of the options menu.

Maybe try doing it with the keyboard to see if it is working at all.

Yeah how would I do that? Like I don't really see on the command where the bind is to which button.

Just after Name. To bind it to the letter q for example it is the following.

Bindings=(Name="q",Command="FOV 85",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False)
