How to activate the Borderlands 1 PC Game of the Year DLC
It's not readily obvious how to activate the DLC that comes with Borderlands GOTY edition, nor how to download the PDF. Well here's how:
Right-click Borderlands in your Steam games list and choose "View CD-Key" to get your keys.
* Claptrap's Robot Revolution
- This is part of the GOTY ed, no activation code required
* The Secret Armory of General Knoxx
- This is part of the GOTY ed, no activation code required
* The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned
- Open your Windows Explorer to: Steam \steamapps\common\borderlands\Binaries\DLCSetup
- Run DLCSetup.exe
- Enter the Zombie activation code from the Steam dialog box
* Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot
- Open your Windows Explorer to: Steam \steamapps\common\borderlands\Binaries\DLCSetup2
- Run DLCSetup.exe
- Enter the Mad Moxxi activation code from the Steam dialog box
* Pandora Map PDF
- Open your Windows Explorer to: Steam \steamapps\common\borderlands\PandoraMap
- Open BL_GOTY_Pandora_Map.pdf (you might want to copy it to a more convenient location)
"Steam" is in "C:\Program Files\" in a default install, "C:\Program Files (x86)\" on a 64-bit system.
You can try it, but SecuROM has been removed, I'm not sure why you have problems in the first place. Are you sure you all have the DLC's installed? The folder must be around 12GB.
My Borderlands folder is about 13,2GB, but I don't have the DLCSetup Files. So this is unfortunately no solution for me. :/
I don't understand why "The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned" and "Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot" are not part of the GOTY edition. When i bought it, all DLC-Codes were in the CD-case.
Where and when have you bought your Borderlands?
1. Borderlands DVD
2. Activation for all DLC's at once (GOTY)
3. Pandora Map / Poster
Then a few months back, I used the Borderlands Granting Tool to convert my DVD to Steam, the GOTY CD-Key was only used to add the DLC's (+Add a game -> Activate a product...)

Did this work for you have you had any problems with the DLC's in multiplayer games? I still need the DLC's and the prices on Steam when BL isn't on sale are higher than I'm willing to pay.
1. Steam Library -> Tools -> Borderlands Granting Tool.
2. Install and open the Borderlands Granting Tool -> insert DVD when asked -> install Borderlands.
3. +ADD A GAME -> Activate Product on Steam -> Enter CD-KEY -> Install DLC's
The error people are getting is apperantly due to the CUT/UNCUT version difference, I don't know if they have an option to enable/disable gore in the game and then try to fast travel to a DLC location.
Steam says, that the DLCs are installed. But I dont have a Folder like you?!
How big exactly is your entire Borderlands folder?
This drives me crazy....
