Seriously though, aim for the weakspots, use high damage elemental effect weapons. Make every shot count. If you want to hide like a wuss rather than fight like a vault hunter, you can. Personally I just sprint to dodge attacks and fire rockets from plain sight.

You can use a car with machine gun. Just lock on Mothrakk, ride in circles, and shoot him.

Also you can hide behind gate to arena which i find the safest place to shoot this creature from.

For weapon sniper rifle and shotgun are, imo, the worst choice. Sniper rifle is too slow, shotgun has too wide spread and is not good for longer distances. I killed him by using machine gun and smg. These are accurate enough, powerul enough and the most important have good firerate.

I think I was level 24 maybe 30ish when I fought him. I used the vehicle and if he came at me I would change seats real quick and move out of sight then keep changing back into the gunner seat again. Stay close to him so your accuracy is better. You will pick up on the timing or pattren when he will stop attacking. I used the Rocket launcher on him. You can use the machine gun as well too, it works better imo. I also used the far right upper hill road so to use the cover of the overhead cliffs to my right for cover if needed. If you see him making wide turns he is coming at you to bomb you. At that time change seats quickly and move up. Get back into postion and fire at him again. Repeat this pattren and he will fall.

Omw, all that pointless faffing about and dragging it to another location which has exactly the same purpose as the vehicle bay, i.e. cover. No kudos there, sorry. If your "fave place" was the top of a mountain in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour, yes, props to you.
