Claptrap Rescue Mission: Old Haven

Ok guys, according to Borderlands Wikia, this particular optional Rescue Mission can be activated and completed, during the "Smoke Signals: Shut Them Down" mission.

I've found the building where the Claptrap would be at (after running around like a chicken with its head cut off), but Claptrap wasn't inside the building (but I did indeed see one trapped in a cage that can't be opened). Here's the link for it:

I don't know if I accidentally screwed up something to make him not spawn, or i'd have to come back here for another mission. So for those who've already found him and fixed Claptrap, any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks for responding man!!! Yeah, I saw the other Claptrap in that cage while shutting down one of the smoke signals, even checked several times in the building where the white skull, a dead bandit, and a gun crate resides (as seen in the provided link above), but no Blue Claptrap in the room. Even followed the intended route to where the Repair Kit would've resided, but nothing.

Hell, I even verified the integrity of the game's cache files just in case if the game glitched somehow, teleported back to Old Haven, and retraced my steps back to that building. Again, no Blue Claptrap there.

So as I said in my original post, I'm not sure if I screwed it up during the mission somehow, and not go directly to the building after closing one of the smoke signals (since one of them is in the same area as the building).

Just a note: Claptrap will appear only after Not Without My Claptrap. (from the wiki page)
So you have to free that Claptrap of Tannis first.
