general knoxx armory bug

I seem to be locked out of the armory. i am looking at guides that say i have to use this willowtree program to fix it? which im obviously unwilling to do.

so guess the game is broke for me?

You seem to have accidentally found the well-known map bug and then done the thing you should never do if you enter the armory the wrong way.

Yes, if you don't want to reset the mission with a save editor, then the game is broke for you.

You could try co-op play with someone who hasn't done the mission yet. Get in through their game.

i take it that wont work if a level 1 hosted and invited me? i guess ill have to find someone who is about to complete this mission. im close to finishing all achievements too. le sigh.

im curious what out of the norm have u done to trigger this?, i hear of it happening multiple times, and I cannot get it to trigger myself, even when entering the armory incorrectly and glitching through the floor.

Edit:nvm i think i know what u did xD, upon using several youtube videos to look up the gliltch,

If its the barrier, you can use a series of grenade jumps to get over it. but.....

my guess is you glitched into the armory, using the floor glitch and stepped into the room with the pillars, which triggered the 2nd objective to check and closed the inner door to the armory, thus perminatally locking you out. YEAH the only way to fix this would be to delete the current mission and go to the previous mission and Mark it for completion, return in that mission which will give u the current mission in question again, and reopen that door.

The barrier force field door that you grenade jump to get over is unlocked for me I can get in there to the smaller room with doors but the door wont open for me. I think it happens when you glitch into the armoury and go into the round room with the red alarm lights and count down in it. one of my task objectives Loot Items is ticked.

yep :) thats what i was refering to, either u have to reset the mission to the previous one using a save editor, play coop with someone else whos doing it, or do playthrough 2

Just delete the mission entry in WillowTree. Believe it's called Super-Marcus Sweep, depending on which ones you're on (you can visit it ''legally'' up to 3 times).

WillowTree is great. I use it to store a vast inventory of stuff I don't really need but want to reserve for some other time, copy guns/items from one character to the other, use it to farm Circle of Duty missions, and so on. I use Siren to farm Crawmerax, so if she gets something good (like an AR420.G Crimson Cobra with 18rnd mag) then I can copy that over to Roland where he can make better use of it. ETC ETC

At level 50 can I start the moxxy DLC now and work my way to the quest without having to re do all of the previous game tasks or will I need to do those for exp?

the only XP you'll get from Moxxi's Underdome is from this mission :

whats a good place to go from 54 to max level quickly?

should I do the prove yourself but not finish it and keep retrying?

rich when they said prove yourself, they are refering to the mission turn in, not the kills

Edit: and You can actually start moxxis just about anytime, the enemies scale to your level, though i recommend doing it when you feel as if you have really really good guns (I.E. one shotting most things with all your guns)

I guess its repeatable task then? Will give that a go see how it pans out.

I figure if I do the moxxi DLC then ill be heading for that armoury as I need to get the achievement for doing all tasks in knoxx DLC.
