Gamespy is gone as of yesterday...

I remember reading that Borderlands was going to have online support after gamespy was shutdown. I guess the online service was running until yesterday. May 31 was the date i read first. But Even Crysis 2 MP was working until the service ended very recently. I have not been able to find out anything onBL for it's online play from now on..

I think it wasn't possible to play online after the shutdown. Only have a copy on the PS3 myself tho

the steam version was supposed to have been converted to steam for online play? I dunno

if it was shut down may 31, why has online worked till yesterday, july 16th.... nothing online seems to give any hints, reasons, answers yet...

Online for BL1 works right now though, it has worked for several days actually.

Is it working for you? I can't access online mode for BL1 because of something about my GameSpy account, I have had this problem since yesterday (I was able to play online during this week), and it seems I'm not the only one experiencing this issue. I guess I should just wait and keep trying everyday.

Ok, this officially sucks. My crew was able to get fine on Tuesday, but yesterday we all got the Gamespy error. We're just getting into the game (just beat Sledge) and I hate that now we're stuck with nothing to play for however long it takes 2K to get their act together. There's nothing we can do but wait, though, unless Hamachi or something would make a LAN connection possible.
