FOV fix
So I am aware there is a FOV fix for this game involving the WillowInput file and I followed a guide absolutely perfectly and shouldnt have an issue but it just simply refuses to change the field of view no matter what key I bind it to.

i know what you're talking about, i did the same thing to no avail, there was a specific spot you had to put it, try putting it at the very bottom of the file with a gap between the bindings and the coding above it, i think this is what i did and it worked, on a youtube video i watched i was scrolling through the comments and found what one person said it didnt work adn that you had to place it at the bottom of the file, sorry i dont remember the name of the video

Download a program called Borderlands Advance Config. It is a very awesome tool where it will have the FOV fix for you. The only downside is you will always have to push F10 to fix the FOV when get out a car and the FOV gets a little weird when you melee. The program is worth it though, it makes it super easy for a FOV fix. I would avoid the 110 FOV because when you sprint you go into fish eye mode and it is very weird to sprint like that :)

Hope this helps!

uhhhh, gordAnfreeman basically just described the exact same results as config editing. you need to edit willowinput, found in my documents>my games. you should paste the fov bindings at the bottom, under the rest of the bindings in the section [WillowGame.WillowPlayerInput]. after that make it read-only

Yeah thats great and all but if you actually read my post you'd understand I did that and it still doesnt work.

Yes thats where I put it, in the willowinput.ini file inside willow config

from PC gaming wiki

Open %USERPROFILE%\Documents\MyGames\Borderlands\WillowGame\Config\WillowInput.ini

Find Under The "[WillowGame.WillowPlayerInput]" Section: Bindings=(Name="F8",Command="shot")
Add Below:

"Bindings=(Name="F11",Command="FOV 90",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False)"

Experiment with different FOV figures to find a field of view that suits you.
It works fine, I've done it
