Mac OS X ?
Why doesn't it run with OS X ? It's got the same engine n stuff as BL 2 and the PreSequel, which all run under OS X... why doesn't BL1 ? 1

I played all the other parts on my mac, mainly BL2, which was the best I think.. but BL1 has a certain ring to it, though.
Is there a patch or another version? I dont like bootcamp. But I like Borderlands :)

Anyway.. someone got any tricks? Would be awesome.

cya in Pandora some time! :summersun:

Philipp

P.S.: Feel free to contact me, if you want to start a new playthrough (doesnt matter which part).. In BL2 I think I still have my characters, but I'm feeling like starting new.

BECAUSE IT WAS NEVER PORTED TO INFERIOR OPERATING SYSTEMS!

Without bootcamp nope.... People should get with the times and get windows if they want to play gold.

Judging people on what OS they should use is unnecessary and rude.

I am sorry Mac and Linux users continue to ignore the fact the game wasn't ported to operating systems without DirectX

:sritona: :runeshock: Well I don't know where you got that information but you are clearly uninformed. To anyone interested, the mac version is available on the Mac app store since well before 2012, it is not avaiable on steam, that is because it's not the same publisher. Feral Interactive ported it to Mac ( and yes for some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up reasons it hasn't been put on steam ). But the point is that it is actually available on Mac, just not through steam. That just prove that you should not listen to people who tell you how misinformed you are, especially if they can't bring an argument to prove their point.

No steam port is what I meant -_-

Anyway gaming on a mac is a joke mainly due to the fact direct x isn't supported along with mac hardware being the punchline.

This isn't the first time someone asked this the reason I get well pissy about it. And someone said it was on "The Mac app store" last time

:uritona: Yes man, have you read anything ? :ritonaworried: You can totally install borderlands 1 on your mac, simply buy it from the mac app store. No need to feel bad about anything :runeshock: :sans:

sadly i got the goty edition for steam.. but that's ok. you helped me a lot. I just found the "get a PC / Mac sux for gaming / Whey do you even got a mac?" annoying..
Jamie Rush Jul 30, 2016 @ 1:40pm
Get a refund for not playing it, it's simple and it will work 100% of the time. Then you can buy the app store version whenever and enjoy yourself on your mac :eselphine:
