However, it's really hard to piece everything together because the images of the parts aren't shown next to the descriptions. Even the names don't necessarily correlate.
I'm just surpised that for a game this old, nobody's made a straightforward parts guide.

Putting it all together, a really nice serial number for Maliwan SMGs would be something like HX530C, for example. The HX indicates Body Type 5, the 530 indicates the combination of Stock Type 5 and Magazine Type 3, and the C indicates Cobalt Material (which is Material Type 3 for Maliwan).
