Pro Tip! Enable DSR for big improvement on Nvidia cards!

If you are running Borderlands GOTY remastered and want to see what it can really look like with a 1000 series or higher GFX card, open up Nvidia control panel and go to "Manage 3D settings". Under global settings, go to "DSR - Factors" and check 2.00x and 3.00x. Then underneath at DSR - Smoothness, change it to 0. By dynamic super sampling down to your monitors resolution (4k for 1080p monitors, 5k for 1440p, etc), pixels will be double mapped and will not need the smoothing filter. Then all you need to do is set the in game resolution to the highest available. If it's too slow with your hardware, then go down one. Looks much improved! Also recommend you take off the FPS lock and mouse smoothing with willowengine.ini tweaking.

With a 1080 TI, BL goty is running at 5k resolution at 90 fps plus. This works with any game, but newer games will lower FPS dramatically when increasing the internal resolution. For example, BL2 at this resolution averages 60 fps with 1080 TI at 5k. Most newer games you would not likely wish to do this.

For additional quality settings, you can enhance the in game settings with the "program settings" tab if you wish.
