Hands down best solo character?

the last time i played bl1 was wayyyy back in 2010 and i was maybe 9 or 10 so i dont have any memories of it so i thought id get it and try it again the only thing i remember about it was that i played roland and i just wanted to know who is the best character to play solo of course add the pros and cons of the one you list.

It's all up to your playstyle. Everyone of them works great, depending on how you play.

Everybody can work solo, but Roland/Soldier's turret is really helpful - it can refill ammo/grenades so you don't run out mid-fight and sit there helpless without allies, it can heal you and even be upgraded to self-revive, not to mention it's just giving you a second target to spread enemy attention already.

I've been grouped up with players less useful than that thing, it's like you're practically playing 2-player already.

Downside is you don't get as many crazy/flashy powers or tools to play with as the others, so aside from your turret almost all of your offense is coming from bog standard shooting.

Lilith, she can do the highest dps with the right weapons (submachineguns, specifically Double Anarchy and Hellfire do ridiculous amounts of damage with her skills) iirc and she can also turn invisible and avoid damage for a period to recover. My opinion of course.

At high level Lilith, at low level Roland. If you got a good build and use phase walk and daze effectively, you are practically unkillable as Lilith.

I like brick for solo play, mid to high game you can easily tank everything by using his alt when it comes off cooldown and murder entire groups in seconds while he maniacally cackles
