I mean, I don't know what class you're using, or guns or anything, but guns like mashers and double anarchies (or even double anything) exist, and honestly kinda trivialize a large part of the game/number of enemies. Good stompers/cobras (battle rifles) can trivialize a lot of enemies, especially when you're smart and use range and cover. See what I'm saying? IMO the only unfair part about BL1, literally the only unfair thing is that you can't crawl around during FFYL.
Usually if people have any kind of problems with Borderlands it's because they are underleveled (but seems that's not your case) or have underleveled gear (which is also not really a case in first Borderlands because one good low lvl gun can last you for the whole playthrough)
I was dying repeatedly on "A bug problem" quest. Finally I killed Widowmaker, it took at least 150 bullets and about a minute of time. But in the next quest area elite popped from ground and I got kllled within a couple seconds. In one second I lose 100% shield and 100% health in attacks I can't see how to dodge. My character is so slow and those beasts so fast.
As for crit chance, I have very low crit with a sniper rifle as I play with a gamepad, not a mouse (please don't blame me). So my aiming is not as fast and accurate as with a mouse.
I mean who beat the destroyer without going down like 4 times when playing solo?
I can solo Destroyer in PT1, Siren in Mercenary build
you ARE using the Turret, right ?
find a Support Gunner class mod. it'll help with ammo.
Explosive weapons rule.
never rush to the next waypoint. especially in Co-op.
stick to Machine guns. Combat Rifles suck.
Atlas and Torgue are good guns to look out for.
pay VERY close attention to Mission levels. if it says " Tough ', it will be. and the gear you DO find, will be unusable.
Anyone can solo Destroyer, it's just a bullet sponge with boring attacks that are easy to dodge. And Siren, especially with Mercenary build is the most overpowered thing in this game so...
throw it into the critspot of the destroyer. or am i just dumb?
Thank you for your help :)
I researched every spiderant variant on borderlands.fandom.com and now I can usually survive at least smaller ones. I still get sometimes killed from warrior's bombs as they take about 90 % of health in one hit and it is difficult to keep track of five enemies at once. But after a lot of time I was able to finish the bug quest in Trash Coast and the Rust Commons.
But I would be completely lost without that wiki. From my game time, I think I have spent about 20 hours searching the wiki and Internet for obscure game's mechanics.
Regarding weapons, the problem is that enemies are stronger with each level. But finding a good weapon is a matter of luck and I have to play with one weapon for 5-10 levels until I finally get a better one. Thus my character getting weaker until a decent weapon drops.
anyone with half a brain would make a new steam account if they had just 1 ban on record, ffyl?
you must play siren, clearly.
