I was not expecting the remastered version to be free to existing Borderland owners, so this is some pretty great news. To be perfectly honest, while I loved the first game I would not have spent money on a remastered version when I already own Borderlands 2 and the Pre-Sequel. Luckily it's confirmed I don't have to now.

Now I just need confirmation on whether Borderlands 3 is coming to Steam at launch or will I have to wait a year for it to leave the Epic Store.

Interesting to note it's a 2K property and they also gave PC players free access to BioShock remastered. Really looking forward to a remastered Borderlands.

Bioshock Remastered (They gave for free to who had the old game on Steam) was a great remaster, I think they will release this remaster (and the remaster of the other Borderlands games) with a lot of PC Options, like a FoV Slider and stuff like that.

The quality of life updates sound real nice. I haven't played the original game in a lot of years, so I'm glad we're getting the upgrade for free. I wonder if there will be a massive patch for the current game, or if a whole new game will need to be downloaded?
