Borderlands 1 GOTY sale?

Hey, just want to know if Borderlands 1 GOTY edition ever goes on sale.

Admittedly I haven't paying that much attention, but it seems the Borderlands 2 (not GOTY) + Borderlands 1 GOTY bundle goes on sale often.

Aforementioned bundle is on sale now but I'd rather get GOTY editions of both games seperately.

Borderlands 1 GOTY will never go on sale. Get "Borderlands 2 Game of the Year" then buy "Borderlands GOTY + Borderlands 2" after. [Note that you will not get a second copy of Borderlands 2 ether way]

Unfortunately it seems I'll be buying Borderlands 2 twice, since the two "bundles" I mentioned weren't actually bundles but "packages", concerning which Steam doesn't refund duplicate purchases (as opposed to bundles where Steam does). But I'll still be getting both Borderlands 2 GOTY and Borderlands GOTY at a lower overall price with the way you mentioned.

Of course, there's still the fact that not all the gameplay-relevant Borderlands 2 DLC are included in the GOTY edition...

Only dlc's that you dont get are the 5 headhunters and ultimate vault hunter pack 2.
The headhunters are $0.89 each during a sale and the ultimate vault hunter pack 2 is $1.64 on a sale.

i would suggest you get them, atleast the ultimate vault hunter pack 2 dlc.

June sale came and went, and I'm poorer and richer for it.

Turns out Borderlands 1 GOTY does go on sale, at least for major sales. Got that, Borderlands 2 Ultimate Edition with additional DLC as menioned above, and Borderlands: The PreSequel with all its DLC. So I'm set!

Borderlands GOTY was on discount during the Summer Sale (which ended last week) for ~7.5 euros. I know for sure as I looked it up for a friend. But you can get it even cheaper on those sites that sell keys that a lot of people have issues with.
