Don't bother with them untill you finish game and get bored.
They are simply additional content made by users, not nessesery to play them.
You will be able to play them when you install Oasis (the instruction for Oasis should be on website) and then put the custom maps as MapSlots to the right Folder named MapSlots.

The game with all of the DLCs takes around 22-30h to finish for someone who doesn't really want to do things fast, so normally people don't bother with them. Unless you are like me who played the game since 2009.

regarding some of the custom maps, some are good and some are crap or unfinished.

Thanks for links. Damn, those custom weapons and stuff looks extremely OP, I think its only viable in solo with 4 players mode enabled.
