Is there a money glitch in that game?

In short,i have beaten a Crawmerax on a 48th level and by beating it,i mean i entered to my friend's game where he beaten him.
So after that he left some guns that he won't use,i picked them and as level of those was like...61th or something,i sold them giving me the ultimate 9999999999 money.
And here is the problem.I can't spend that money.I buy legendaries from shops for 2 milions each,i spend it for ammo and some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ shields,and nothing.
When i die,i have to play 89 MILLIONS.PER.DEATH.And still i have enough money.
You can check my screenshot where you can clearly see i still had 99999999 money.
Was that a bug/glitch or no?

the money counter caps at 9999999 but if you keep selling weapons and then you die it says you lost ~1million but you are still at 9999999 because it does count more money in the background.

yeah but i have lost 89 milions,like 3 times when fighting Crawmerax.So you know...i had to have kinda more money in the pockets.

welp,okay then,but it dosen't seem legit that i could afford that much money.
Eh,whatever,not that i had many ways to spend it.

no its legit, you can view your true money amount in willotree and actually see the true cap its at something really freaking high
