Gamepad Help
Hi all.
Reaching out to see if anyone has a solution to my problem.

After first installing Borderlands GOTY, I used my connected ps4 controller to adjust the video settings. The second time I loaded the game, the controller no longer worked in game. It is still being recognized by steam, and I can access the steam menu, but no other input works.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling to see if its a settings thing, but nothing. I've also tried in and out of big-picture mode, as well as all the available controller configurations.

Any ideas?

Edit - I'm on Windows 10

Enter device and printers and right click wireless controller, select hardware and HID-compliant game controller, if it says at the bottom: this device is disabled, click properties, change settings and enable device. I used to do that all the time when I wanted to play with the Dualshock 4 wired, after getting a bluetooth dongle that problem dissapears.

Unfortunately its already enabled. It still works with newer steam games that have controller support. Just refuses to work with Borderlands now.

You can use DS4Windows, it's an app that masks the dualshock 4 as a xbox 360 controller, I always use it and haven't had no problems with it so far.
