Lilith fire effect.

Is there a way to turn off the Lilith fire effect which she gets after killing an enemy with a "Phoenix" skill?
I sometimes can't snipe because when i crouch to get some cover it just cover my screen.
It also can happen when it FFYL mode,which makes things even harder to see and kill.

The only way I think is to cut off that specific shader, but some effects can also dissapear if it's used elsewhere. But anyway it's not something you can just right-click and delete. So deal with it I guess :p

Blight Phoenix is useless for most builds. Ruin has more utility. Use the left over points for something else. Please show your skil tree if you want some help on build advice.

You could also just not snipe, or farm up a pele so it doesn't really matter if you miss slightly. Hell, with pele and an elemental lilith just aim at the ground near them and you are golden.
'crouch to get some cover' also indicates you really aren't playing lilith properly. the only characters in this game that should ever be crouching in cover are Mordecai and Roland. Lilith and Brick both have the mobility/toughness to just run from standing cover to standing cover, especially Lilith, who can simply phase walk to a full cover if you really need cover.

Okay sorry, next time i won't use cover to regenerate health and shields when i won't have phasewalk. I am so stupid that i even tried to do that, like i just should go with my last % of health on my enemies. Damn i am stupid. If i would not know how to play, i would not play.
Now will you just say "There is no way to delete that effect, sorry mate" or you will try to be some kind of teacher?

You don't need to be a prick. In all seriousness, in Borderlands 1, when playing as Lilith, you should not ever end up in situations where you are having to cower in cover. There are a lot of areas in this game where there isn't even any cover in the first place.
If that is happening, you are playing poorly, have your character skills set up extremely poorly, or don't have good enough equipment for the stage of the game you are at.
It's not me being an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, it's someone with more knowledge and experience telling you that the problem is more on your end, and that you shouldn't be looking for mods to make up for your gameplay style issues.
If the pheonix skill is really getting in your way so often, then maybe you should try putting those points in other skills, since it isn't complimenting your playstyle.

I am being helpful, I've told you that the issue is on your end. You are the one who is being an ass to those trying to help you, and refusing to accept the facts.

That said, if you are having noticeable viewkick issues due to volume of fire, you are too close for hardscoping a sniper rifle. If you are at adequate range, or shoot and scooting as opposed to standing there like a lemon, that isn't an issue.

None of the issue you are reporting with pheonix causing issues seeing. If it is more intrusive than what my screenshots have shown, it is again, a problem on your end, since I'm simply using high settings with flare outs off and AA on x2.
