Pearlescent Weapons?

I know of only a few ways to get these rare pearlescent weapons. A Lance Pyro, a Drifter, and Crawmerax. I have killed so many pyro's, over the 500 mark. Maybe more. I have killed many Drifters, I lost count. I have tried to kill Crawmerax mutiple times, and I just can't do it. Even with the glitch way to do it, in the little corner spot.

I have only ever picked up one pearlescent weapon, the rocket launcher. Found it in a lance chest thing. I heard that finding pearlescent weapons in those lance chests is really rare. Luck me.

But, do drifters even drop pearlescent weapons?

Yes, i got two pearlescents from Drifters.

i got a lvl67 serpens from a drifter, and a tsunami and 2 undertakers from armory run

before retiring from this game, had scored a Harden Ironclad shield that dropped from a Badass Lance Engineer.

and funny enough, this happened while I was on the way to Knoxx's Armory to farm the chests for pearlescents (after glitching through the floor of course)

Are the pearl shredder and pearl sniper pearlescent weapons. If so, I must be lucky cause I got those before I was even lvl 30

Late to the party... But yeah.

I have killed a lot of Drifters, and they hardly drop Pearlescents. The best item Ive gotten from this particular enemy is a OGRE assault rifle. And I have easily killed about 300-400 of those tall standing spiderlike creatures. Drifters CAN rop Pearls, but very seldom, and are very inefficient, since it is a time consuming task. Unless you enjoy killing them, then i suggest just keep on grinding! I find farming them to be extremely boring.

The badass Lance enemies drop pearls and legendary eridians. Very very rare though.

I would suggest Crawmerax, which should drop a Pearlescant every 30th-60th kill. Thats at least how the rates have been for me this year.

Ive gotten 5 Ironclads, which makes me believe that its the easiest Pearl to obtain.
Ive also gotten 3 Serpens and 3 Nemesis guns, which makes them the most common for me.

The one i had to grind the hardest for was the Aries, which I got after 1150 runs at Crawmerax lair. I have yet to obtain the Undertaker before I have collected all the Pearls in the game.
