Ajax farming (looking for the ogre)

Is there any better way to farm Ajax? I'm farming him for the ogre, obviously. Every time I kill him and quit, I get put back at the start and need to drive all the way up there again. There must be a more efficient way.....?

There are no better ways, unfortunately. Backtracking is a tedious part of Borderlands. And all that DLCs needed was a fast travel station at every location...

You can try to farm Ogre by farming crawmerax too. Its rare drop tho, but it drops.
