unlock framrate in borderlands 1

I have a 144hz screen and i want to unlock the framerate (if it is possible of course) but i dont know how to do it, can somebody help me? thanks

VSync doesn't appear as an option in game but is located in a settings file. Assuming that applying VSync will adapt to 144Hz...

do you where can i find the settings file?

C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\My games\borderlands\WillowGame\Config\WillowEngine.ini

Find SmoothFrameRate
Change it to False and save it.

i have looking in all the files of the photo with control + b (like control + f on the internet) and i have found the " SmoothFrameRate"
