Modded Gear

Hello guys I was wondering if someone is willing to help me get modded gear. I've tried multiple forums and videos walkthroughs on how to get them and they dont seem to work for me.

Side Note- I'm running windows 10, could that be an issue on why the downloads for the mods didn't work?

I done that on the PS3 and it happend but never on PC the game is so old that theres no modders or active mods anymore. Theres no point in modding this game anymore with it being so easy and nobody really plays much anymore.

have you tried willow tree? its a modding program for your guns and items.

Yea I have and still wouldn't work. Maybe I'm doing something wrong during the steps and that's the reason why it's not working

What kind of stuff are you after? like the one shot stock guns or something else?

possibly. when you try to mod a wep/item, are you using the list that is assigned to the weapon or item? you can choose wrong pieces and that can mess it up. Make sure you make a backup save before you open it in willowtree so you don't lose items that you already like/have.

hello - you can easily copy weapons and add them to your clipboard (windows) then insert them from your clipboard into willow tree. it's really easy

(open your save file in willow tree)
\\Users\Me\Documents\My Games\Borderlands\SaveData\Save0001.sav

for example, from this website the first entry is
http://blmodding.wikidot.com/hall-of-fame-dlc3-page-2
you would copy everything BETWEEN the asterisk and then insert it into your willow tree

also you can import a bunch of weapons or items at one time by importing an xml file.
see screenshots for my backpack space etc.
here are all my weapons you can import into willow tree from an xml file.

####don't forget to use the save feature in the weapons area#### along with saving the borderlands save file ---- Save0001.sav

you can also change the level of all your weapons at one time (see screenshot)

@Skullface and @Litearsekicker I figured out what I did wrong to cause why the gear wouldn't work, but thanks for those links anyways
