Hello I play on the ps4 and since you updated player permissions dummies join my game only to steal all my resources. They often join and I don't notice until my base is raided.

Sorry to hear you're having this issue.

Can you please confirm that it's not anyone on your friend's list?
Only friends or invited can join a private game, so please make sure that your game is set to private if you're playing online.
If you are playing a single-player game, please do not use an online game.

Hi, I am also having this issue. I always set my game to private, but random people keep joining. I usually just kick them out asap, but twice now, people have stolen my things in a matter of seconds. Most recently, it was my precious ore

Please help

Edit: Also, I think it might be helpful if there was a way to report players for stealing. This dude Alex kept coming back even after I kicked him out, and I was hoping I could at least report him :/

Hello, I’m playing on switch and I also have a problem of random people joining my friends-only lobby. I know for sure that they aren’t on my friends list and it’s really annoying to see random people join and take my stuff before I can kick them. I see that this was a problem back in June but now its September and I don’t think the problem has been fixed.

High, its now 2023 since this original post. my family and I are being invaded by a non-friend bot-type. We boot them and they come back on. Its seriously upsetting. We now hide chests with valuables far from camp ☹️

Like another player described, it's 2023 and this is still an issue. The game should be removed from market or their should be DEVELOPER transparency about this bug. I would like a refund as this has hindered the gaming experience.

I don't know if this is the same problem, but it sounds like what was happening in Garden Paws including the longterm lack of a fix. Last August, someone posted this in their forum:

"My understanding is that Bolt (the server client) found a huge flaw in their system over a year ago. Not sure how long it goes back but all of the info is on their website. They have fixed things on Bolts end but they make it clear that it's on individual devs to rework their game and such with the rewritten Bolt code"

After a significant complaint made in the Garden Paws forum on Oct 13th, the dev suddenly provided a patch on Oct 15th (someone in the forum is also in their discord, I think a moderator iirc, and keeps them updated on bug complaints and stuff). So....

Are there any updates on this issue? This is still a problem. My daughter and her friend are playing in friends-only mode on Switch - and almost every time a stranger joins and steals all their stuff.

I'm sorry, but this doesn't work, we always have the game in private and random players always enter through some means, and the only thing they are looking for is to check your chests and take the loot in their purple chest.
