No damage!!

I’ve started a new game in survivalists and my hand tool won’t do any damage to basic trees or rocks. I can’t harvest Berries, etc. am I forgetting how to play or is this a known bug?

Hi,
Exact same happened to me. No tool or weapon inflicted any damage.
Was In multiplayer session - host restarted the game -and everything worked again after that.

I'm using (or trying to use) a Hand Axe. Nothing it hits, even grass, does anything.

And for the record I played through the entire game Multiplayer during early access and haven't played since.

just started playing again today and having the same problem, finished the game a year ago and wanted to start again

I'm having same issue. On Nintendo switch actually so it's not a steam version exclusive issue. (I couldn't find anything about it anywhere else)
I restarted my game and handaxe is doing nothing. Restarted again. Still nothing.
I can't see anything about it being resolved besides restarting

I'm having the same issue. The handaxe that should be able to get you grass and wood and stone in the beginning does nothing. I walked around had archers shoot trees and grass so I could build tools. But even the tools wouldn't do any damage to anything. Rocks, trees, grass. Seems like a serious issue.
