Monkey glitch

Does anyone know a way to like teleport monkey's for some reason one of my monkey's glitched out and is now in the border of the map and I cant get to him I cant make it follow me or anything can anyone help?

Sorry to hear you're having this issue.

Could you please verify your game files:

1. Right-click on the game in your Steam Library, choose Properties, switch to the Local Files tab and press Verify integrity of game files...
   
2. Attempt to run the game to see if the issue is resolved

hi there thank you but i tried it and it still didn't work my monkey is still stuck on the border of the map but thank you none the less

Also is there a way to increase the monkey cap I currently have 20 and Ik why would I want more but I wanted to build bases in different islands but I dont have enough monkey to do it is there any way to increase it?

Thanks for trying that.

Can you give it a job such as gathering? Does it have any icon above its head?
If you load into an online game, and then back to your game, is the monkey still stuck?

No I cant before it glitched out my monkey had the job of crafting so the only thing it has is the icon ontop of his head of him missing the tool I tried changing the job and telling it to follow me but it dosent work

Have you tried the summoning banana? You'll need to unlock the food processor blueprint to create it. That will teleport your monkeys to your location when used.

yes it did he works okay now every now and then i have the same issue of my monkey suddenly teleporting outside the border but now with the banana i can get them back also i have a question will there be a way to have a higher cap then 20 monkeys

Could you please share your saved file with us, as there still seems to be an issue with your monkeys teleporting around?

You can find it here:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Team17 Digital Ltd_\The Survivalists
It should be a folder with a long line of numbers. Please compress (eg. ZIP, RAR) and send us the whole folder.

Then please email this to [e-mail] and include a link to this thread.

We will pass your feedback on the monkey limit to the team for consideration.

I have the same Problem.

1. Save your game with a bed
2. close the game
3. start the game and your monkeys are fixed

As of march 18th of 2022, this bug has still not yet been fixed.
Thankfully tho, your tip helped getting them back !
Saving/restarting did not.

yea I just had the same bug but summoning banana worked fine

Had the same problem.

my monkey is holding a large chest with some contents inside.
when I boarded a fast raft it immediately gone. I checked the map and it is beyond the map.

the summoning banana worked just fine, I can get my monkey back, but I cant get the chest with its contents.
