Multiplayer - Losing Connection

My buddy and I are attempting to play The Survivalists and he will constantly disconnect every 2-3 minutes. We're playing just fine and he gets "Lost connection" and then it kicks him.

This is making it really difficult to make progress, as i have to re-invite him and then set his "island permissions" back up again over and over.

Any advise? We've both verified integrity of our game cache's, and I've forwarded my ports via the recommended steam ports, neither of which fixed the issue.

Both of us have stable internet connections, and can play other games together just fine.

So we can ensure you have the best connection, can you please follow the steps in the links below, and reach out to your ISP to open your NAT.

Troubleshooting Network Connectivity
Clear download cache
Flush your DNS Cache[www.whatsmydns.net]

It might be worth it for your friend to also follow the above steps.

Do you get the same issue if you join your friend in a world?
