Monkeys stops gathering items for crafting tables.
I have a supply chain set up where the monkeys will gather supplies from one of many chests and set them on crafting tables, then a crafting monkey will use those items to create something. Afterwards the newly created object is picked up by another monkey and dropped into a chest.

I have a few crafting benches set up and a forge, each with an item waiting for the required items.
Sometime during my game the monkeys that gather the items and place them on to the tables simply stopped doing their assigned task. reassigning them the task of gathering the items does not help at all. They simply sit there as if they are unable to find the proper items.

Moving the chests does not seem to help nor does moving an item from one chest to another. Before they stopped working I noticed there was a bit of a strange issue. The gatherer monkeys would stop working and attempt to attend to a pre-placed fire pit (The firepit was outside an orc hut). I already have two other firepits in my base. One is a simple firepit and the other is a fire pit with a pot. If I used wood to relight the fire pits (all of them) the gatherer monkeys would get back to work. For some reason this no longer works..

I'm using the windows version of the game. I'm on Windows 10 if that matters. (Not sure if this is important)

I have the same Problem. it looks like there's a block of wood in front of the campfire that you can't pick up and the monkey tries to pick it up all the time

Greetings both,

Thank you so much for the comprehensive report and for the screenshot - we have passed this on for our developers to take a look!

This seems to be an issue with calling them away from the area they last did a task in. If you press Q and all them over with S, they simply won't do the task assigned to them even if there is a place they can do said task right in front of them if they area you called them away from is too far away from where they previously did that same task. I also had an issue with multiple monkeys doing the same task as well. I can't seem to get more than one monkey to be a crafter, and more than one to be a deliverer. Only one will do the task, and the others will just stand there and be useless even if there are multiple crafting projects available to them.

My crafter seems to be the 1 that breaks often. Trying to nail down why still. Most of the time it happens when another gatherer monkey is on top of him so I never know it's happening & I can't see if he has needs.

I'll try the fireplace idea next time.

The most recent time was just after a raid. I think the time b4 was the same. I try to keep fights away from the workers but the orcs just roll into their work zones & start swinging. So my current theory is that they are getting interrupted. Possible it only happens on leveled up monkeys too. Mine has 450% crafting.
