Am i Just dum or how do we get more after the main tutorial crafting recipes

Craft a recipe in the space before a locked recipe. After the item is completed, it will unlock any connected recipes. You will likely have to leave your starting island to find the ingredients to unlock higher tier items.
Recipes that aren't connected to any other recipes are given as rewards by one of the Taskmasters, or for meeting the Mysterious Stranger (the hot air balloon guy). Recipes for all of the trinkets will have to be found on new game+ or regeneration or whatever the game calls it. Probably multiple playthroughs.
